Ladron Mountain

A Small New Mexico Mountain called Ladron Mountain. The name might be spelled wrong. It's late and the people I know that know the correct spelling, are a sleep. So I will correct the spelling tomorrow. Ladron means theft. So it 's theft mountain. It's said, thefts sat up on the mountain and waited until some unsuspected Family wondered by and the thefts would ride down on horse back a rob the family. Often leaving them for dead. They would ride back up into the mountain hiding there stolen goods in the mountain until a later time the thefts would come back an retrieve there goods.
